Stainless steel scutcheon is a type of scutcheon that is made of stainless steel plate through such means as corrosion, pressure casting, and printing. Stainless steel is a special material, the production process of which is much more difficult than that of the copper and aluminum plate. But it is highly resistant to the corrosion of air and fresh water and can have desirable decoration effect through such processes as corrosion, polishing and wiredrawing. For stainless steel, electrochemical corrosion, also referred to as electrolytic corrosion, is the fastest mode of corrosion.

Most of the stainless steel scutcheons currently used are made through corrosion technology. Such scutcheons are characterized by attractive pattern, clear outline, suitable depth, smooth bottom surface, full color, even wiredrawing and uniform surface color, etc.

Production process of stainless steel scutcheon：

1、1.Prepare material: choose specification and plate as per requirements;

2、Arrange the scutcheon pattern file via computer and then carve the scutcheon format via carving machine and adhesive sticker;

3、Stick the carved adhesive sticker to the plate accurately and make the film adhere to the plate smoothly and securely; it is necessary to heat the plate stuck with film;

4、Clean the corroded scutcheon and make it ready for paint spraying; stoving varnish (Oven is a must.) or automobile metallic paint can be used as paint;

5、After the paint has been sprayed and dried, remove the excessive adhesive sticker from the scutcheon, so that the final process for the production is finished.
